The DynaVap BB3 is a purpose-built water pipe companion. "BB" stands for Bubblerbell, which accurately describes what this piece of stainless steel is designed for: you insert it directly into a water pipe joint and draw through the glass. The result is a DynaVap session with full water filtration and cooling, without any adapters or workarounds.
The operating principle is the same as any DynaVap. Heat the tip with a butane lighter or torch until you hear the click — that audible and tactile signal means the metal has reached optimal extraction temperature, around 220°C. Heat-up takes about 8 seconds. Draw, get your vapor, wait for the cool-down click, and repeat. No battery, no charging, no electricity.
The 3-hole tip is specific to the BB3 and distinguishes it from standard DynaVap models. Three airflow holes instead of the usual one produce a more even airflow through the herb, which means more consistent extraction across the bowl. It's a small design choice that makes a noticeable difference in practice.
The joint compatibility is the central engineering consideration. The BB3's stem is sized to fit standard water pipe joints directly — you'll want to confirm your glass's joint size before buying, but the fit with common sizes is designed in from the start. Once inserted, the BB3 seals well and doesn't require any adapter.
Stainless steel construction means the BB3 can handle daily use indefinitely. It doesn't rust, doesn't warp under repeated heating, and wipes clean quickly with isopropyl alcohol. Der DynaVap BB3 ist die Glas-Variante im DynaVap-Sortiment: ein Body aus Borosilikatglas, der gleichzeitig als Stem und 14mm-Wasserrohr-Adapter funktioniert. Mit nur 28 Gramm ist er einer der leichtesten DynaVaps. Der Dampfpfad bleibt komplett metallfrei — reiner Glasgeschmack ohne Kompromisse. Er passt auf alle DynaVap-Tips und lässt sich in wenigen Sekunden mit einem Jet-Feuerzeug oder Induktionsheizer aufheizen. Ab ca. 52 € erhältlich.
Aufbau & Borosilikatglas
Der BB3-Stem ist aus hitzebeständigem Borosilikatglas. Drei Glasperlen (BB = „Ball Bearing") im Inneren kühlen und konditionieren den Dampf. Das Glas ist 3 mm stark und übersteht normalen Gebrauch, ist aber empfindlicher als der /dynavap/dynavap-vapcap-m-2021/Edelstahl-M.
Im Gegensatz zu den Metall-Stems hat der BB3 keinen Condenser — die Glasperlen übernehmen diese Funktion. Der Dampfpfad ist komplett metallfrei vom Tip bis zum Mundstück.
Click-Cap & Erhitzung
Wie alle DynaVap-Geräte nutzt er die Click-Cap-Technologie: Den Tip mit einem Jet-Lighter erhitzen, bis der Cap hörbar klickt — das ist das Signal zum Inhalieren. Nach dem Abkühlen (5-8 Sekunden) klickt er erneut und ist bereit für den nächsten Zyklus.
Die Temperatur variiert je nach Erhitzungstechnik: Näher am Ende des Caps erhitzen gibt leichteren Dampf, näher an der Spitze des Tips dichtere Wolken. Pro Füllung sind 3-5 Heizzyklen typisch. Als flammenlose Alternative eignen sich Induktionsheizer wie der YLL 3.0 oder der Ispire Wand.
Dampfqualität & Glasperlen
Die drei Glasperlen sind das Herzstück: Sie verwirbeln den Dampf, kühlen ihn ab und sorgen für einen glatteren Zug als bei einem normalen Metall-Stem. Das Glas selbst gibt keinen Eigengeschmack ab.
Geschmacklich gehört der BB3 zum Besten, was DynaVap bietet. Fans von reinem Geschmack ohne metallische Noten greifen hier zu.
Kammer & Befüllung
Am oberen Ende sitzt der Standard-DynaVap-Tip mit ca. 0,1 g Kapazität. Der BB3 ist nicht mit Dosierkapseln kompatibel. Material direkt in den Tip füllen, locker und nicht stopfen.
Der Tip lässt sich tauschen — wer einen Titanium-Tip hat, kann ihn auch im BB3 verwenden.
Wasserrohr-Kompatibilität
Der BB3 hat einen 10mm-Anschluss und passt direkt in Bongs und Bubblers. Glas auf Glas — die sauberste Verbindung. Das macht den BB3 zum idealen Wasserrohr-Stem für DynaVap-Nutzer.
Durch die Glasperlen und die Wasserfiltration wird der Dampf doppelt gekühlt. Besonders bei höheren Temperaturen (dichtere Wolken) ein Gewinn.
Reinigung & Pflege
Glasteile nach jeder Session mit der Bürste auskehren. Wöchentlich: Stem in Isopropanol (90 %+) einlegen. Glasperlen lassen sich nicht einzeln entfernen — den ganzen Stem einweichen.
Vorteil gegenüber Metall: Glas nimmt keine Gerüche auf. Nach dem Trocknen riecht der Stem wie neu. Vorsicht beim Handling — nicht auf harte Böden fallen lassen.
Lieferumfang
