Stundenglass Modul

The Modul's controls are built around a 2.4-inch color display paired with a single rotary dial — everything operable with one hand. The temperature range runs from 200 to 500°C (392–932°F) with stepless adjustment.

Heat-up time sits between 15 and 45 seconds depending on the target temperature. The display shows both actual and target temperatures simultaneously, so you know exactly when the device is ready. Low settings (185–220°C) produce flavourful, lighter vapour from dry herb; higher settings give denser draws.

For concentrates, the 230–320°C range is typically where most materials perform best, though the broad spectrum leaves plenty of room to experiment.

The built-in 6000 mAh battery is notably large for a heating module. Stundenglass rates it at up to 50 sessions per charge — real-world numbers depend on temperature and session length, but even with regular use, charging every few days is typical.

Charging is via USB-C, and the Modul supports passthrough charging, meaning it keeps working while plugged in. Handy for longer sessions or when the battery runs low unexpectedly.

The battery is integrated into the anodized aluminum body and not user-replaceable. Given the capacity and USB-C fast charging, that's unlikely to be an issue for most users.

The Modul is designed from the ground up for the Stundenglass ecosystem. It fits the Gravity Infuser and the Kompact directly — no adapters required. The connection allows the gravity system to run entirely on electricity, with no need for a torch or any other external heat source.

With the Modul attached, the Gravity Infuser works exactly as it always has mechanically: rotation moves water between globes, creating the vacuum that draws air through the heated chamber. The Modul just handles the heat side precisely and electronically.

Existing Gravity Infuser owners get a meaningful upgrade in control and convenience. New buyers should pick up the Stundenglass Gravity Infuser as the base unit — the Modul requires one of the two Stundenglass bases to function.

The Modul is aimed squarely at existing Stundenglass owners who want to move away from external heat sources, and at anyone coming to the gravity system who wants precise electronic temperature control from the start. The dual-tank approach makes it genuinely versatile rather than a single-use attachment.
