The Stundenglass Modul Dry Material Tank is the original replacement herb tank for the Stündenglass Modül. The chamber is made entirely of quartz, the heating element is custom-stamped stainless steel, and the magnetic ring for attaching it is included. One thing to know before buying: this tank does not vaporize, it combusts the material, which the manufacturer says gives a clean flavor during combustion. If you want to vaporize herbs, go for the newer Dry Material Vaporization Tank with its ceramic chamber.

What's in the box

The box contains the quartz herb chamber and the magnetic ring. The Modül itself and the carb cap are not included.

When to replace it

Stündenglass recommends replacing it when the quartz turns cloudy or cracks, or the heating element no longer holds an even temperature. According to the manufacturer, regular cleaning with isopropyl alcohol extends its life considerably.

Three tanks, three purposes

There are three tanks for the Stündenglass Modül: the Dry Material Tank with a quartz chamber for herbs, which combusts the material; the newer Dry Material Vaporization Tank with a ceramic chamber, which vaporizes herbs without combustion; and the Quartz Concentrate Tank for concentrates. All three attach to the Modül with a magnetic ring. You always need the tank that matches your material and the way you want to consume it.
