The Stundenglass Small Replacement Globe is a single 470 ml glass globe for the full-size Stündenglass Gravity Infuser. It is smaller than the stock 700 ml globe and, according to the manufacturer, gives a smoother, more moderate pull. The glass is hand-blown borosilicate. One requirement to check before buying: the small globe only works with the small upstems – the standard large upstems do not fit. If you don't have them yet, the Small Globe Kit with globes and upstems is the better choice. This globe does not fit the Stündenglass Kompact.

Smaller globe, smoother pull

At 470 ml, the globe holds less than the large 700 ml globe. Stündenglass describes the pull as smoother and more moderate as a result. If you prefer stronger hits, stick with the large globe.

Small upstem required

The manufacturer explicitly states that this globe needs the small upstem. It does not work with the standard upstems for the large globe.

Compatible devices and care

It fits the full-size Gravity Infuser, not the Kompact. For cleaning, Stündenglass recommends rinsing the globe by hand with warm water after each use and using the Stündenglass cleaning kit for a deeper clean.
