No. The Rio has a permanently installed butane torch that is refilled through a valve. There is no battery and no charging port — meaning there is no battery degradation, but also no electronic temperature control.
“Rig In One" means that the rig, torch, banger, carb cap and tool form a single device instead of five separate components. Everything is attached to or stored within the same housing and transported together in the supplied case.
The Rio uses a 14 mm joint size: the bubbler has the female joint and the banger has the male joint. Male 14 mm replacement bangers will therefore fit, provided their height is suitable.
The Rio is cleaned in two stages: clean the quartz banger with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton bud while it is still warm, then empty the glass bubbler and rinse it with isopropyl alcohol as well. Keep the resin base and torch unit dry.
No. The Rio is a dab rig for concentrates. A quartz banger operates at significantly higher temperatures than a herb chamber and is not intended for flower.
The torch is filled with standard butane gas of the kind sold for lighters. It is filled through the valve on the tank. Highly refined butane leaves fewer residues in the valve.
