Pulsar RoK

All RoK functions run through a single button. Three rapid presses power the device on; subsequent presses cycle through the three heat levels. Blue (3.2 V) sits around 680 °F and produces cool, aromatic pulls ideal for flavour-focused sessions. Green (3.7 V) at roughly 770 °F balances flavour and cloud production. Red (4.2 V) at about 850 °F extracts every last residue from thick concentrates and is suited to larger dabs. Five quick presses activate Sesh Mode, which holds the atomizer at temperature for a continuous 12-second heat cycle — convenient when passing the device around. Heat-up time across all three settings is approximately 20 seconds.

The borosilicate glass piece is central to the RoK experience. Its disc percolator forces vapour through multiple small openings in the water chamber, cooling and filtering each hit before it reaches your lips. The result is noticeably smoother than unfiltered e-rig setups, making higher temperature sessions more comfortable. The glass detaches without tools and is safe to run through a dishwasher, which is a practical advantage over many competitors that require isopropyl-only cleaning. The built-in WPA connector (14 mm joint) allows the electronic base to be paired with a separate bong or hookah mouthpiece.

A non-removable 1350 mAh battery powers the RoK. Pulsar rates the device at 25–30 sessions per charge; real-world endurance depends on which voltage setting you use most and how large your dabs are. Charging takes roughly two hours via the included Micro-USB cable. Note that there is no USB-C port, which can be a minor inconvenience given how common USB-C has become. The battery is not user-replaceable. At 7 inches tall with a matte black aluminium body, the RoK is compact and robust; it fits in a jacket pocket and the included carrying case protects all accessories during transport.

The Pulsar RoK is aimed primarily at beginners and casual users who want an all-in-one dab setup without a torch, a separate nail and a bong. Everything needed for a session is in the box: simply load the bucket, press the button and wait 20 seconds. The dual-use capability also appeals to users who want one device for both dry herbs and concentrates. Where the RoK falls short is precision temperature control: three fixed levels are enough for most users, but anyone who fine-tunes their sessions in single-degree increments will want a device with a digital display and granular control. For uncomplicated, good-looking dabbing at a fair price point, the RoK is a strong option.
