The temperature is set digitally, in five-Fahrenheit steps, and ranges from 104 to 532 degrees Celsius. The display shows the actual value, so you can follow the heat-up. The axial design of the coil is the technical trick: it surrounds the banger and heats from below at the same time, instead of only applying heat at one point. This distributes the heat more evenly and prevents cold zones in the banger. An auto-shutoff timer, adjustable from zero to five hours, switches off after two hours at the factory setting.
