This construction allows switching between different atomizers for various concentrate types. The included standard atomizer features a ceramic insert for even heat distribution. Katalyzer optionally offers a quartz insert that heats faster with slightly less heat retention. Both inserts fit the same base and swap without tools. The threading is built to withstand over 500 assembly cycles according to the manufacturer without noticeable wear.

The Dabalyzer's take-apart design simplifies cleaning considerably. The atomizer head detaches from the battery, then the mouthpiece, vapor path, and heating insert come out individually. Each part can soak in isopropanol without exposing electronics to liquid. The ceramic dish lifts out with tweezers and soaks for 20 minutes in 99 percent alcohol. Stubborn residue dissolves overnight. The stainless steel vapor path also handles hot water. After drying everything reassembles without tools. The manufacturer recommends a thorough cleaning after every tenth session to keep the flavor fresh.

The Dabalyzer atomizer unscrews without tools and can be swapped for a replacement in seconds. With daily use, a new atomizer every four to six weeks keeps vapor quality consistent. Between swaps, soaking the ceramic dish in isopropanol for ten minutes removes residue effectively. The O-ring at the thread base should be checked every two to three changes and replaced when visibly worn to prevent air leaks.

The Katalyzer Dabalyzer offers precise temperature control for concentrate sessions. Load a small dab onto the heated surface and draw slowly through the glass attachment. The ceramic heating element reaches target temperature in about 10 seconds. Start at 300 C for flavorful low-temp dabs and increase to 400 C for full extraction. Clean the ceramic surface after each session with a cotton swab — residue builds up quickly with concentrates.
