Camouflet Convector

The Convector features a precise airflow control ring near the mouthpiece that lets you dial in your preferred draw resistance. Opening it fully delivers thick, unrestricted clouds suited for quick extraction, while partially closing it concentrates the vapor for richer flavor at lower temperatures. Many users start with a half-open setting around 185°C for the first few draws, then gradually increase both temperature and airflow as the bowl progresses.

The Convector by Camouflet uses a butane flame as its heat source but routes hot air through a convection path into the herb chamber. Unlike a DynaVap where the cap heats directly, the flame never touches the material. A titanium heat exchanger absorbs flame heat and releases it as a hot airstream. Heat-up takes 5-8 seconds — far faster than battery-powered devices. Pure convection means the first draw tastes as clean as the last.

With the Convector, draw strength directly affects vapor temperature. Slow, steady pulls produce dense clouds with full flavor, while faster draws cool the air for lighter hits. Most users dial in their sweet spot within 2-3 sessions. The vapor path is short enough for warm, flavorful draws but long enough to eliminate combustion risk.
