The difference between Session and On Demand lies in the heating duration: in Session mode, the device maintains the temperature for a set period, while in On-Demand mode it heats only for an individual draw. On Demand conserves material and battery power when there are longer pauses between draws.
Yes, the v2.0 glass aroma tubes can generally also be used with the V1 because they belong to the entire Solo range. As Arizer has not documented the differences between the versions, when buying replacement parts it is advisable to check the dimensions of the individual part rather than the model designation.
The Solo 3 is cleaned in two steps: the glass tube can be soaked in isopropyl alcohol, while residue is removed from the chamber with a brush. The electronics and battery must remain dry — liquid should only come into contact with the removable glass parts.
