Manufacturer settings by heating cap material
Settings apply from room temperature. With a warm heating cap, reduce the YLL-3.0 timer by 8–12 seconds and maintain the wattage. Wand values control the timer, not the actual temperature. They apply with the V3 adapter until timeout.

The MAD Heaters TEMPEST 2 Titanium Chamber is the separately available herb chamber in the titanium variant. The manufacturer lists TEMPEST 2 and TEMPEST 2 Slim as compatible devices. What is being compared is the chamber, not a complete head or vaporizer. The current manufacturer page offers titanium as well as stainless steel and various surface finishes.
Titanium Variant for TEMPEST 2 and 2 Slim
MAD Heaters lists the MAD Heaters TEMPEST 2 Titanium Chamber as a replacement chamber for TEMPEST 2 and TEMPEST 2 Slim. For this catalog item, the material selection of titanium is the defining factor. A visually identical stainless steel offering is not the same variant. Compatibility with the original TEMPEST is not derived from the product name.

Check the Chamber Revision of the Individual Listing
The current manufacturer description mentions a revised version with four adjustment positions. This is documented by the current manufacturer version, not automatically by the stock of every retailer. Check the material and the revision offered at the time of purchase, especially if a store uses older photos or descriptions. The MAD Heaters TEMPEST 2 Titanium Chamber does not replace any missing components of the heating head.
