Stainless steel balls for the MAD Heaters Tempest 2 — the heaviest ball material with the highest heat retention. Density: 7.87 g/cm³, thermal conductivity: 16.3 W/mK. Heat-up time at 80 W: 38–43 seconds. Stainless steel holds temperature the longest and delivers the densest clouds of all available materials. Ideal for cloud chasers and users who want to fully extract large loads in a few draws. Requires more patience during heat-up than SiC or glass.

Manufacturer settings by heating cap material

Settings apply from room temperature. With a warm heating cap, reduce the YLL-3.0 timer by 8–12 seconds and maintain the wattage. Wand values control the timer, not the actual temperature. They apply with the V3 adapter until timeout.
