The Yocan Vane 2 from Yocan is a portable dry herb pen with a ceramic heating chamber and OLED display. With stepless temperature control from 200-480 °F (93-249 °C), it offers more precision than many competitors at this price point. The 1100 mAh battery charges via USB-C.
Yocan is a Chinese manufacturer producing portable vaporizers and concentrate pens since 2013. The Vane 2 is the improved version of the original Vane. The price comparison across 3 shops shows the current price range.

Ceramic Chamber and Conduction Heating
The Yocan Vane 2 uses a full ceramic heating chamber. Herb sits directly on the ceramic surface and heats evenly. The chamber holds about 0.2 g of material. Ceramic releases no off-flavors and is taste-neutral.
Heat-up takes 15-20 seconds -- noticeably faster than the predecessor. The OLED display shows the set temperature in real time, so the heat-up process can be tracked visually.
The mouthpiece is removable and made of plastic with an integrated screen. Cleaning is done with the included brush. For deeper cleaning, soak the mouthpiece in isopropanol.
Stepless Temperature Control with OLED
Unlike most pens with 3-5 fixed levels, the Vane 2 offers stepless temperature control. Plus and minus buttons adjust temperature in 1 °F increments between 200 and 480 °F (93-249 °C).
The OLED display shows current and target temperature. This is a real upgrade over LED color systems that only show rough levels. Advanced users can test different temperature ranges for different herbs.
Recommended starting points: 180-190 °C for flavor, 200-210 °C for balanced vapor, 220+ °C for thick clouds. The last setting is saved for the next session.
Battery: 1100 mAh with USB-C
The built-in 1100 mAh battery lasts for roughly 8-12 sessions per charge. Charging is via USB-C -- an upgrade from the predecessor's Micro-USB. Charge time is about 2 hours.
The display shows battery level as a bar indicator. Auto-shutoff after 5 minutes of inactivity protects the battery. Passthrough charging is not supported.
Compared to the original Yocan Vane (same battery capacity but Micro-USB), the Vane 2 adds the modern charging port and display as its main improvements.
