S&B’s answer to the competition

The Venty was released in 2023 as Storz & Bickel’s first completely new portable since the Crafty. Faster than the Mighty+, lighter than it looks, and with features S&B had never installed before: adjustable airflow, Bluetooth app, and Supercharge charging. The Venty is aimed at users who want to combine S&B quality with modern convenience.

Available in over 40 shops worldwide, from 280 €. The price tag is above the Mighty+, which raises the question: does the speed justify the premium?

Design and ergonomics

At first glance, the Venty looks bulkier than the Mighty+, but thanks to its ergonomic shape it sits well in the hand. 252 grams are noticeable, but the weight distribution is right. The housing is grippy and robust.

The airflow control on the side is new for S&B. From restrictive (dense vapor, more flavour) to wide open (cooler, airier). This adjustment was not possible on the Mighty+. In practice, you set it once and forget it — but it is good to have the choice.

The OLED display shows temperature, battery level and Bluetooth status. The Bluetooth app (S&B Companion) allows precise temperature control, custom temperature profiles and firmware updates. You do not necessarily need the app, but it expands the possibilities considerably.

Heat-up time: The game-changer

20 seconds. That is three times faster than the Mighty+ and fundamentally changes the workflow. You press the button and draw almost immediately. No waiting, no planning ahead. The Venty is the first S&B portable to enable truly spontaneous sessions.

The fast heat-up time comes from a revised heating element with more power. To achieve this, S&B made the battery slightly smaller (3000 vs 3300 mAh on the Mighty+), which is a deliberate compromise. Supercharge charging with a suitable USB-C-PD charger partly compensates for this.

Vapor quality

Hybrid heating like the Mighty+, but with adjustable airflow. With the airflow half closed, the vapor comes close to the Mighty+: dense, flavourful, warm. With the airflow open, it becomes cooler and airier, but loses some density.

The cooling system is more compact than on the Mighty+. It works well, but does not quite reach the efficiency of the Mighty+ spiral system. At maximum temperature, you notice the difference: the Mighty+ delivers cooler vapor. For most users at 180-200°C, the difference is marginal.

Battery and charging

3000 mAh lasts 45-70 minutes. Less than the Mighty+, but the Supercharge function fully charges the device in about 40 minutes (with a USB-C PD charger). Pass-through charging works. In practice: shorter battery life, but also shorter charging time. For most users, it balances out.

Dosing Capsules and cleaning

The Venty uses the same Dosing Capsules as the Mighty+ and Crafty+. Full ecosystem compatibility. Cleaning works identically: brush the chamber, soak the cooling unit in isopropanol. The more compact cooler is quicker to clean than the Mighty+ spiral.
