About this vaporizer
The Tinymight is a portable, pure convection vaporizer with a 5 second heat-up time. The temperature can be adjusted up to 240°C. The water pipe compatibility enables use with bongs, and pass-through charging reduces waiting times. Unlike the newer Tinymight 2, the original lacks digital app controls, but many users appreciate the mechanical simplicity. The 3-year guarantee secures the purchase. Without dosing capsules, a small hemp mat or similar is necessary for crushed herbs to minimize contamination. The device is suitable for users who are looking for a quick heat-up time and true convection combined with mobility.

Usage & Operation
The Tinymight is a handcrafted convection vaporizer from Finland – the predecessor to the Tinymight 2. Its signature feature: pure on-demand operation with instant heat-stop. A swappable 18650 battery, wooden body, and analog temperature dial make it a cult favorite.
1. Insert Your Battery
Unscrew the bottom cap and drop in an 18650 battery (positive end up). The Tinymight has no USB charge port. You charge the battery externally in an 18650 charger. A full 2600 mAh cell gives you roughly 6–10 on-demand sessions. A spare battery is handy for days out.
2. Load the Chamber
Pull out the glass mouthpiece. Grind your herbs medium-coarse – pure convection needs coarser material so hot air can pass through freely. Fill about 0.05–0.1 g loosely. Don't tamp it. Slide the mouthpiece back in.
3. Set the Temperature
The temperature dial sits on the side of the wooden body. Turn it to your preferred level:
- Left – low temp, roughly 170–180 °C / 338–356 °F, full flavor
- Middle – roughly 190–200 °C / 374–392 °F, flavor plus solid vapor
- Right – roughly 220–240 °C / 428–464 °F, max extraction
There's no display – you'll learn the right spot for your taste after a few sessions.
4. On-Demand Draw Technique
Hold the button down and wait 3–5 seconds. Then draw slowly and steadily for 8–10 seconds. The moment you release the button, the heater stops – no wasted vapor, no continued heating. The glass mouthpiece cools the vapor noticeably. A typical bowl lasts 3–5 draws.
5. After Your Session
The heater shuts off the instant you release the button. Let the device cool briefly. Pull out the glass mouthpiece, tap out the spent herbs, and brush the chamber clean. Soak the glass mouthpiece in isopropyl alcohol every 1–2 weeks.
5 Common Beginner Mistakes
- Grinding too fine – Fine material blocks airflow with convection heating. Go medium-coarse.
- Drawing too fast – Fast pulls cool the heating element down. Slow, steady draws produce way more vapor.
- Not holding the button long enough – The heater needs 3–5 seconds of lead time. Drawing immediately gives you hot air and nothing else.
- No spare battery – 2600 mAh drains quickly with frequent use. A second cell saves the day.
- Overfilling the chamber – The Tinymight only needs 0.05–0.1 g. Less material = better airflow = more vapor.
Handmade in Finland
Each Tinymight is handmade in Finland. Walnut wood body gives each unit individual character.
Pure Convection: On-Demand and Session
Pure convection: hot air flows through material. Two modes: on-demand (instant heat on draw) and session (continuous). Max 230 °C via dial. On-demand heats in under 5 seconds.
Replaceable 18650 Battery
18650 battery is replaceable. High-drain cells recommended (Samsung 30Q, Sony VTC6).
Water Pipe Compatible
Fits directly into 14 mm joints. Pure convection pairs well with water filtration.

On-Demand Convection
The Tinymight uses pure convection and only heats when you draw. Hot air flows through the chamber on demand, extracting compounds evenly. No wasted material between hits.
Unlike session vaporizers, you can take a single hit, put it down, and come back later. The bowl lasts longer because nothing burns away while you are not using it. Great for spreading small amounts across the day.
On-Demand Convection Heating
The Tinymight heats herb only while you draw, which is the defining trait of on-demand convection. There is no session timer ticking down and no oven staying hot between hits. You press the button, take a pull, and the heater shuts off the moment you release. This means you can take a single hit, set it down, and come back twenty minutes later without wasting any material. For people who prefer small doses spread across the day rather than full sessions, this approach is far more efficient than session vapes that keep cooking the bowl whether you are inhaling or not. The heater reaches working temperature in about five seconds, so there is almost no waiting involved.
Glass Stem Cooling Path
Vapor travels from the heater through a borosilicate glass stem before it reaches your lips. Glass does not add any taste of its own, so you get a clean read on the flavor of whatever herb you loaded. The length of the stem also gives the vapor a few extra centimeters to cool down, which makes a real difference at higher temperatures where a short path would feel harsh. Cleaning is straightforward: soak the stem in isopropyl alcohol for ten minutes and rinse with warm water. Some users keep two or three stems in rotation so there is always a clean one ready. The stems are a standard diameter, and several third-party makers sell colored or longer versions for anyone who wants more cooling or a different look.
