The LINX Hypnos Zero is a slim concentrate pen (14 × 107 mm, 46 g) with an all-ceramic chamber and ceramic plate instead of a wire coil. The 650-mAh battery with 510 thread offers four temperature settings and charges via USB in one to two hours. The package includes two glass mouthpieces, charger, case, and tool; LINX provides a one-year warranty.
With verified shops in the price comparison, finding the best price is quick and easy.
The device is barely larger than a thick ballpoint pen and can be transported discreetly. The automatic shutoff and simple single-button operation make the Hypnos Zero an entry-level device for concentrates -- straightforward and with no learning curve.

The Hypnos Zero sets itself apart from most concentrate pens with its ceramic plate atomizer. Instead of an exposed wire coil, a flat, porous ceramic plate sits inside the chamber. The concentrate is applied directly to the plate and heated evenly.
The advantage: ceramic distributes heat more evenly than wire coils. There are no hot spots that locally overheat the material and produce a burnt taste. This is especially noticeable with concentrates that have delicate terpene profiles -- the flavor yield is higher.
Another plus: ceramic wears down more slowly than wire coils. The plate retains its properties over many sessions. When performance declines, replacing the atomizer is possible -- replacement parts are available through the manufacturer and specialty retailers.
The Hypnos Zero is one of the smallest concentrate vaporizers on the market. Its dimensions are close to those of an ordinary pen -- in a shirt pocket or purse, the device goes unnoticed. The housing is made of anodized aluminum and feels good in the hand despite its small size.
Size comparison with similar devices:
| Device | Type | Atomizer | Form Factor |
|---|---|---|---|
| LINX Hypnos Zero | Concentrate | Ceramic plate | Ultra-compact |
| Linx Blaze | Concentrate | Quartz | Compact (76 g) |
| Puffco Plus | Concentrate | Ceramic bowl | Medium |
| Dr. Dabber Stella | Concentrate | Quartz | Medium |
The compact design comes with a trade-off: the chamber is smaller than on larger pens. For microdosing, that's ideal -- anyone who wants to load large amounts at once is better off with a larger device. The Hypnos Zero shines where portability comes first.
The Hypnos Zero is controlled via a single button. Five rapid clicks turn the device on, and another five clicks turn it off. During use, the button is held to activate the atomizer -- releasing it stops the heating immediately.
According to LINX, the battery offers four temperature levels (output voltage 3.5 to 4.1 V); the manufacturer does not specify degree values. Lower levels preserve flavor, while higher ones deliver more vapor.
The automatic shutoff after a few minutes of inactivity prevents accidental activation in a pocket. The button is easy to reach and has a clear click point. Overall, the operation is so simple that no manual is needed.
The ceramic plate of the Hypnos Zero produces smooth, flavorful vapor. Since no wire coils touch the material directly, the metallic aftertaste found in some budget wax pens is absent. Terpenes are better preserved, which is especially noticeable with high-quality concentrates.
The vapor volume is appropriate for such a compact device. Anyone expecting massive clouds won't be happy with the Hypnos Zero -- that's not its intended use. Instead, it delivers moderate, flavor-intense draws. For microdosers and flavor-focused users, that's exactly right.
The mouthpiece is short and slim. A glass mouthpiece would be optimal for flavor but would break the pen format. The built-in mouthpiece is made of heat-resistant material and doesn't noticeably affect the taste after the first few sessions.
Thanks to the flat ceramic plate atomizer, cleaning the Hypnos Zero is easier than with coil vaporizers. There are no gaps where residue can build up. A cotton swab with a little isopropyl alcohol is enough for routine cleaning.
Cleaning schedule:
| Part | Interval | Method |
|---|---|---|
| Ceramic plate | Every 3-5 sessions | Cotton swab + isopropyl alcohol |
| Mouthpiece | After each session | Wipe dry or briefly with alcohol |
| Housing | Weekly | Damp cloth |
Replacement atomizers are available through the manufacturer and select shops. With regular maintenance, an atomizer lasts several months. According to the manufacturer, the package includes the atomizer, two glass mouthpieces (one with a filter section), the battery, a USB charger, a carrying case, and the Linx tool. The device and all parts fit together compactly -- ideal for on the go.
Same device type and a similar price; matching heating methods come first. Size and features may differ.
