Instead of an open chamber, the MV1 uses crucibles – small metal capsules you pre-load with material and insert into the device. This keeps the vapor path clean and allows quick reloading on the go. Pre-packing crucibles simplifies dosing. Cleaning is easier too, since the material never touches the chamber directly.

The Ghost app (iOS and Android) lets you set and save precise temperature profiles. You can dial in exact temperatures and create different presets for various materials. The MV1 also works without the app, using preset temperature levels on the device itself.

The MV1 uses a standard 18650 cell at 2600 mAh. A full charge lasts 8–12 on-demand sessions. Carry a spare cell for all-day use – swapping takes seconds. The combination of replaceable battery and passthrough charging makes the MV1 practical even without an outlet nearby.

Ghost Vapes has stopped producing the MV1. However, some retailers still have stock, often at reduced prices. For collectors and enthusiasts, the MV1 remains a sought-after device – its vapor quality is still top-tier. Spare parts and crucibles are currently available, though supply may decrease over time.

The MV1 uses small stainless-steel crucibles instead of a built-in chamber. Each crucible holds about 0.1 g of ground herb. You can pre-load several crucibles at home and swap them on the go — a fresh crucible slides in through the side door in under five seconds.

Ghost sold the crucibles in packs of five. Since the company is no longer active, third-party replacements can be hard to find. Keeping your existing crucibles clean extends their life considerably. A quick soak in isopropyl alcohol after every few sessions prevents residue from building up in the mesh screen at the bottom.

Unlike session vaporizers that keep the chamber hot for minutes at a time, the MV1 only heats air when you press the trigger and inhale. Hot air passes through the crucible from below, extracting vapor without baking the herb between draws. This approach preserves flavor and stretches each load across more hits.

Heat-up takes about 3 to 5 seconds after pressing the button. The first draw from a fresh crucible is mostly flavor with light visible vapor. By the third or fourth draw, clouds get noticeably thicker as the herb reaches full extraction temperature. Most users get 6 to 10 draws per crucible before the taste turns thin.
