The Focus V CARTA is a portable e-rig from Focus V, primarily designed for concentrates. It uses conduction heating and reaches up to 370 °C. The built-in 2,000 mAh battery charges via USB. Temperature and session settings are controlled through a Bluetooth app.
The CARTA is WPA compatible and includes a glass bubbler that filters vapor through water. As a smart e-rig, it connects to a smartphone app for precise temperature control. Prices from 4 shops in the price comparison. All Focus V products on the brand page.

Conduction Heating up to 370 °C
The CARTA uses conduction heating: a heating element warms the atomizer through direct contact, vaporizing the concentrate on the surface. Maximum temperature reaches 370 °C -- high enough for all common concentrates including waxes, shatter, and live resin.
Heat-up is fast: the CARTA reaches operating temperature in seconds. At lower temperatures (200-250 °C) flavor takes priority, at higher settings (300-370 °C) vapor density dominates.
For the full temperature range, the Bluetooth app provides precise control. Without the app, predefined levels are available on the device.
Bluetooth App and Smart Controls
The CARTA connects via Bluetooth to the Focus V app (Android and iOS). The app allows precise temperature and session duration settings. It also stores custom presets and LED color profiles.
For users who prefer not to use the app, basic functions are accessible directly on the device. Four predefined temperature levels cover the most common use cases. The app extends functionality but is not required.
Compared to e-rigs without app support, the CARTA offers more flexibility -- especially when experimenting with different concentrates and temperatures.
Glass Bubbler and WPA
The CARTA comes with a borosilicate glass bubbler. Vapor is filtered and cooled through water, improving comfort noticeably at high temperatures.
The CARTA is WPA compatible: via an adapter it connects to an external water pipe. That appeals to users who prefer larger glass pieces or already own a collection.
The bubbler can also be used dry (without water). At low temperatures that is an acceptable option; at high temperatures water filtration is recommended for a smoother draw.
Who Is the Focus V CARTA For?
The CARTA targets concentrate users looking for a portable e-rig with app control and water filtration. The Bluetooth app enables precise temperature control, the glass bubbler cools the vapor, and WPA compatibility adds flexibility.
The 2,000 mAh battery lasts multiple sessions. Unlike the successor Carta 2, the original CARTA battery is not replaceable.

App Control via Bluetooth
The Focus V App connects via Bluetooth. It allows precise temperature control, session time adjustments, and firmware updates. The app also displays battery level and draw statistics.
Without the app, the CARTA works via four preset levels. The app is optional but significantly expands control.
