About this vaporizer

The DaVinci V2 is the second hardware generation of the classic DaVinci vaporizer, which the manufacturer sold under the Karma Classic name. It is not a new device but a reworked version: the chamber is easier to reach and therefore easier to clean, a magnetic closure seals the device better, and the Flexistraw wires are recessed into the housing instead of sitting exposed. The battery lasts up to one hour and 40 minutes. The retailer that carried the device in Europe describes the V2 as considerably more reliable than the first version — and reliability was exactly the main criticism of the V1. The V2 was offered in black, grey and green. The device is no longer in production.

What the V2 changes compared with the first version

The V2 is not a new development, but a revision of the classic DaVinci. The manufacturer addressed four areas: access to the chamber, the closure, the Flexistraw wire routing and the battery. The retailer that sold the device in Europe summarises the result by saying that the V2 runs considerably more reliably than the V1 — and reliability was precisely the issue that had prompted criticism of the first version.

← Back to Overview
What distinguishes the DaVinci V2 from the first version? +

Four areas: improved access to the chamber and therefore easier cleaning, a magnetic closure instead of the push-fit solution, Flexistraw wires recessed into the housing and a battery with a runtime of up to one hour and 40 minutes. Overall, the V2 is considered considerably more reliable.

Is the DaVinci V2 the same device as the DaVinci Classic? +

Not quite — the V2 is the second hardware generation of the same device. The manufacturer marketed the product line under the name Karma Classic. In our catalogue, you can find the first version listed separately under DaVinci Classic because retailers listed the two versions separately and priced them differently.

How long does the DaVinci V2 battery last? +

Up to one hour and 40 minutes. For a portable device of this generation, that is a good figure and, in practice, is sufficient for several sessions in one day.

What is the Flexistraw? +

The flexible air path that runs from the mouthpiece to the chamber in the DaVinci. In the V2, the stabilising wires are recessed into the housing instead of being exposed — the exposed wires in the first version were a typical weak point when the device was carried in a pocket or bag.

Which colours was the DaVinci V2 available in? +

Black, Grey and Green. Which colour is still available today depends on the remaining stock held by each retailer.

Is the DaVinci V2 still manufactured? +

No. The device has been discontinued and is now only available as remaining stock. Replacement parts and accessories are very difficult to obtain, which means it is now aimed more at collectors than everyday users.
