Induction instead of butane
The principle of induction is familiar from cooking: a coil generates an alternating magnetic field that heats the titanium directly - without flame, without combustion, without gas consumption. Butane operation and maintenance
Compatibility with Convector tips

If you already own Convector accessories, you can keep using everything - glass parts, wooden bodies, WPA adapters. Only the heat source changes. Switching between butane and induction is possible at any time, since the tip is identical in both systems.
Injector heating method
The Camouflet Injector uses butane gas as the heat source. The flame heats a stainless steel heat exchanger, which warms the air before it flows through the material. No battery, no charging cable — just refill the gas when you are out and about. One lighter tank is enough for around 15-20 draws. Heat-up time is only a few seconds.
Injector session routine
Fill the Camouflet Injector with butane gas and briefly vent the valve. Ignite the flame and preheat the heat exchanger for 5-8 seconds. Grind the material finely and fill the chamber. As you inhale slowly and evenly, hot air flows through the material. Three to five draws per chamber filling are ideal. Turning off the flame between draws saves gas.
Injector butane tips
Use high-quality, multi-filtered butane gas — at least 5-times refined. Cheap gas leaves residues in the burner and impairs the flavour. Fill the tank at room temperature and do not overfill it. A full tank is enough for 15-20 heating cycles. Take spare flints and seals as a backup for longer outings.
