Boundless Terp Pen Spectrum

Inhaling activates the coil. The three voltage levels are 3.3, 3.7 and 4.0 V; heating stops after a twelve-second continuous draw. Boundless recommends a five-to-eight-second preheat before touching concentrate, but publishes neither a fixed time to operating temperature, a Celsius range nor a conduction/convection classification.

The replaceable 600 mAh battery module charges by USB-C. Boundless specifies approximately 40 to 50 draws and about 45 minutes to charge. The current manufacturer page does not document use while charging.

The Terp Pen Spectrum is a portable vaporizer. It weighs 116 g — one of the lighter devices in its class.

Accessories and spare parts are available directly through Boundless.

The Spectrum is intended for solid concentrates. Documented features include inhale activation, three voltage levels, replaceable coils, a replaceable battery module and use with suitable 14 mm water pipes.

The Terp Pen Spectrum is draw-activated — simply hold it against the concentrate and inhale. No button needed. The ceramic coil heats up during inhalation and vaporizes the concentrate directly on the surface. Short, gentle draws deliver the best flavor. Drawing for too long overheats the coil. After 3-4 draws, set it down briefly and let it cool.

The ceramic coil is the core of the Terp Pen Spectrum. After each session, dab the tip with a dry cotton bud. If the flavor starts to fade, soak the coil in isopropyl alcohol for 15 minutes. Replacement coils should always be close to hand — changing one takes seconds. Most users get 3-4 weeks out of one coil, depending on frequency of use.

The complete 600 mAh battery module is sold as a replacement part. It uses USB-C and its LED indicates charging: red while charging and green when full.

The Terp Pen Spectrum is the further development of the Norddampf Terp Pen. Main differences: three voltage levels instead of one fixed power output, a larger 600-mAh battery and USB-C instead of Micro-USB. Flavor and handling are comparable. Anyone who already owns a Terp Pen and is satisfied with the performance does not necessarily need to upgrade. New buyers are advised to go straight for the Spectrum.

The Terp Pen Spectrum offers three voltage levels for different concentrate types. Level 1 (low) is suitable for terpene-rich live resin extracts with maximum flavor. Level 2 (medium) is the all-rounder for common waxes. Level 3 (high) reliably vaporizes viscous distillates. Wait briefly between levels so the coil can reach the new temperature.
