The Sykloud adjusts by the degree between 93 and 371 °C (200–700 °F). For concentrates the useful range sits roughly between 230 and 290 °C: at the low end the terpene flavour survives, at the top the vapour gets dense and the bucket empties faster.

After starting, the chamber reaches its target in around ten seconds – there is no preheating in the classic sense; the dab goes in once the display settles.

The chamber is a 22 mm deep ceramic bucket with an embedded heating wire – conduction, as with practically every e-rig: the concentrate sits on the heated ceramic. Because the wire heats the whole bucket and not just the floor, whatever clings to the wall vaporises too, and less is left as residue.

The vapour passes through the glass top with water and arrives correspondingly cool. Temperature decides how dense it gets; cleaning the bucket after each session decides how clean it tastes.
