The Universal Baller Conversion Kit - V2 from Terp Chasers Club is a conversion kit that allows you to add a modular Universal Baller heater head and a Hybrid Bowl to an existing compatible heating system. It is suitable for the Universal Baller and Universal Baller V2. If you already own a system with a compatible 25-mm heating coil, you can continue using its heating technology. Before carrying out the conversion, check that the heating coil, PID controller and stand are compatible with one another. The current V2 version combines a Wireless heater housing with an Ultra-High-Airflow quartz insert and the corresponding quartz disc. The kit also includes a Hybrid Bowl with an 18-mm glass joint and Full-Size glass head, a Wireless handle and a Wired adapter. This prepares the heater head for either a wired or wireless setup. For wireless operation, you will also need a suitable docking station. For thermal storage, the kit contains 1,000 ruby balls, each measuring 2 mm in diameter. Three machined stainless-steel screens, two retaining rings and two O-rings complete the package; one retaining ring and one O-ring are pre-fitted. A heating coil and PID controller are not included and must be obtained separately to suit the setup.

Construction and materials

The Wireless heater housing contains the Ultra-High-Airflow quartz insert together with the matching quartz disc. It is filled with 1,000 ruby balls, each measuring 2 mm in diameter. Three machined stainless-steel screens are included to separate and position the components. The Hybrid Bowl has an 18-mm glass joint and a Full-Size glass head. Two retaining rings and two O-rings are also part of the assembly, with one of each pre-fitted.

Compatibility and requirements

The conversion kit is designed for the Universal Baller and Universal Baller V2. To operate it, you need a suitable 25-mm heating coil and a compatible PID controller. The SS316 Armored Coil and the standard 25-mm replacement coil are listed as suitable heating coils. The heating coil and controller are not included. You should also check that the stand fits correctly. With a V1 WOHW Kit featuring an axial heating coil, the existing coil is not sufficient as a compatible 25-mm barrel coil.

Wired or wireless

The heater head can be used in either a wired or wireless setup. The Wireless heater housing, Wireless handle and a Wired adapter are included for this purpose. If you want to operate the system wirelessly, you will also need a suitable docking station. Like the heating coil and PID controller, it is not included in the kit. The available operating mode therefore depends on the components you already own or purchase separately.
