The Katalyzer Goldy Dosing Capsule for PAX is a single gold-plated dosing capsule by third-party manufacturer Katalyzer for PAX Plus, PAX 3, and PAX 2. It allows you to pre-portion fill material, keep the device chamber clean, and quickly swap loads between sessions. The flat lid features three rows of large holes, while the side wall is fully closed. Since the Goldy is slightly smaller than the device chamber, the retailer recommends placing a degummed hemp fiber around the outside so the capsule stays securely in place when removing the lid and does not shift. The Goldy described here corresponds to the older first design by Katalyzer. It is not an official PAX accessory, but a product from an independent manufacturer. Anyone who wants to distinguish between designs should pay attention to the exact model designation — Katalyzer now also offers a Goldy V2.
