The PAX 2 weighs just 92 g and has a slim aluminum housing. It fits into any trouser pocket and is available in several colors thanks to its anodized finish. Its smooth shape with no protruding parts makes it an ideal companion when out and about.

The chamber holds approximately 0.3 g of finely ground material. The mouthpiece is flat and integrated almost invisibly into the top edge of the device.

Four preset levels cover 182–215 °C. You switch between them by pressing the button directly on the device — unlike the PAX 3, the PAX 2 does not have a temperature app. Heat-up time is around 45 seconds.

Lower settings provide more flavor, while higher settings produce denser clouds. The conduction heater delivers consistent vapor throughout the session. The lip sensor automatically detects draws and reduces the heat during breaks.

For smaller amounts, the Half-Pack lid halves the chamber capacity — saving material and providing more consistent draws with a smaller load. Unlike DaVinci or Storz & Bickel devices, the PAX 2 does not use dosing capsules; the chamber is filled directly.

The PAX 2 uses pure conduction: the walls of the stainless steel chamber heat the material directly. This means fast heat-up times and dense vapor production. The temperature can be adjusted across four settings, with the highest at 215 °C.

For the best extraction, draw slowly and steadily — short, forceful draws are less effective with conduction heating. A fine grind and tightly packing the chamber noticeably improve the result. Some users stir the chamber contents halfway through the session.

The built-in 3000-mAh battery is one of the larger batteries among portable vaporizers. In practice, it provides six to eight full sessions before the PAX 2 needs to be plugged in. A charge takes around two hours using the magnetic charging dock.

The charging dock is compact but requires its own cable — standard USB-C unfortunately does not work. Anyone using the PAX 2 daily should charge it overnight. For trips lasting several days, a second charging dock is useful as a backup.
