Yocan X is a pod system for concentrates — instead of loading a coil directly, you work with magnetically snapping pods. The device consists of three parts: battery, pod and mouthpiece. Inside the pod sits a Quartz Dual Coil (QDC) that heats the wax via conduction. Intensity is controlled via three voltage levels: 3.4 volts, 3.8 volts and 4.2 volts, plus a ten-second preheat function for melting the concentrate. The 500 mAh battery charges via USB-C in under an hour. At roughly 96 by 20 by 15 millimeters, the Yocan X is very slim. The pod principle makes it cleaner to handle than classic wax pens — you swap the pod rather than loading an open coil.
