The Yocan X is a pod system for concentrates — instead of loading a coil directly, you work with magnetically snapping pods. The device is three-part: battery, pod and mouthpiece. Inside the pod sits a quartz dual coil (QDC) that heats the wax via conduction. Intensity is set via three voltage levels: 3.4 volts, 3.8 volts and 4.2 volts, plus a ten-second preheat function for melting the concentrate. The 500 mAh battery charges over USB-C in under an hour. At around 96 by 20 by 15 millimetres, the Yocan X is very slim. The pod principle makes it cleaner to handle than classic wax pens — you swap the pod instead of loading an open coil.
