The Yocan Pandon is a concentrate wax pen that combines two quartz dual coil units in a single chamber. Together they add up to four quartz coils, which is why Yocan markets it as a quad coil device. Anyone wanting less vapour can remove one of the two coil units and run the Pandon with a single atomiser. Three voltage levels of 3.5, 3.8 and 4.2 volts are cycled by button press and indicated by LED colour. The fixed 1300 mAh battery is generous for a pen of this form factor. Mouthpiece, atomiser and battery connect magnetically, so the device comes apart for cleaning without any threads. A single draw is capped at ten seconds.

Why is the Yocan Pandon called Quad Coil? +

Because the atomiser contains two quartz dual-coil units. Each of these units has two quartz coils, giving a total of four. Yocan groups this configuration under the Quad Coil designation.

Can the Pandon be operated with only one coil? +

Yes. One of the two coil units can be removed. The Pandon then operates with two coils instead of four, produces less vapour and accordingly consumes less concentrate and battery power.

Which voltage levels does the Yocan Pandon offer? +

Three fixed levels: 3.5 volts, 3.8 volts and 4.2 volts. They are cycled through by pressing the button, and the LED colour indicates the active level. There is no setting in degrees Celsius.

What is the battery capacity, and can it be replaced? +

The battery has a capacity of 1300 mAh and is built in. It is charged using the supplied USB connection. It is not designed to be replaced by the user.
