The Yocan Cubex is a cube-shaped wax pen for concentrates in a distinctive cube design with an aluminum housing. Instead of a classic wire coil, it uses the TGT coil (target coil) — a combination of a ceramic donut and a quartz rod (XTAL) with no exposed heating wire, with a resistance of around 0.4 to 0.5 ohms. Intensity is set via three voltage levels: 3.0 volts, 3.6 volts and 4.2 volts. Unusual for a wax pen is the large 1,400 mAh battery, which lasts one to two days and charges over USB-C. A preheat function and a safety cutoff after fifteen seconds round off operation.
