The Yocan Armor Plus is a concentrate wax pen with a 650 mAh battery and three voltage levels. It ships with a quartz dual coil and a quartz tri coil, both on 510 threads with a coil cap. Unlike the standard Armor, it has no preheat mode. At about 11.7 cm long and 1.6 cm wide, it stays as pocketable as a pen.
On the outside the Armor Plus looks like the standard Armor with its angular metal body; inside, Yocan upgraded it. The battery holds 650 mAh instead of 380 mAh and lasts noticeably longer between charges. The three voltage levels are 3.4, 3.8 and 4.2 volts, compared with 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 volts on the Armor. The ten-second preheat mode of its predecessor is gone. The device grew by a few millimeters, but at about 11.7 cm long and 1.6 cm wide it is still the size of a pen.
Two coils in the box
Yocan includes two atomizers. The quartz dual coil (QDC) with two quartz rods is tuned for flavor. The quartz tri coil (QTC) uses three quartz rods, draws more power and delivers stronger hits; the larger battery is what makes it possible. Both coils screw onto the battery via 510 threads. A coil cap covers them, keeping heat in the chamber and stopping hot concentrate from spitting onto your lips.
Who the Armor Plus is for
The Armor Plus suits concentrate users who want more vapor and longer runtime than the standard Armor offers and can live without a preheat mode. Yocan itself pitches it at heavy hitters rather than people looking for gentle sessions. Operation follows the familiar Yocan pattern: multiple clicks on the button turn it on, and the same button cycles through the voltage levels. Anyone who has used a Yocan pen before will manage without the manual. It is not built for dry herb.
The Armor Plus has a 650 mAh battery instead of 380 mAh, higher voltage levels (3.4 / 3.8 / 4.2 V instead of 3.0 / 3.5 / 4.0 V) and adds a quartz tri coil. It drops the preheat mode of the Armor.
Three levels: 3.4 volts, 3.8 volts and 4.2 volts, selected with the single button.

No. Yocan removed the ten-second preheat of the standard Armor and raised the voltage instead.
No. The Armor Plus is a wax pen for concentrates. Dry herb needs a herb vaporizer.
