For precise temperature setting, yes. Without the app, the Crafty starts at the last temperature that was set, and Boost mode (double-click) increases it by approx. 15 °C. For full control, the Storz & Bickel app is recommended.
The Crafty has been officially discontinued and replaced by the Crafty+. Some retailers still have remaining stock, often at reduced prices. 6 shops currently list it in the price comparison.
Yes. The dosing capsule system is identical for the Crafty, Crafty+, Mighty, Mighty+, Venty, Volcano Hybrid and Plenty. All accessories are cross-compatible.
The 2900-mAh battery lasts 45-60 minutes depending on temperature and draw behaviour. At a medium temperature, 4-5 sessions are possible. Pass-through charging allows use while charging.
Yes. With a Water Pipe Adapter (WPA), the Crafty can be connected to standard bongs with a 14-mm or 18-mm joint. The adapter fits over the cooling unit.
Remove the cooling unit and soak it in isopropanol. Brush out the chamber with the supplied brush. Replace the screens if they are clogged. If you use dosing capsules, cleaning is needed much less often.
For flavour-rich, light vapour: 160-175 °C. For balanced extraction: 176-195 °C. For maximum vapour production: 196-210 °C.
A double-click on the device button increases the temperature by approx. 15 °C above the set target temperature. Useful towards the end of a session to extract the remaining material.
The Mighty has two batteries (2 x 2600 mAh) for longer runtime and an integrated display for temperature control without the app. The Crafty is, in return, more compact and lighter (135 g vs. 230 g).
Storz & Bickel provides a 2-year manufacturer's warranty when registered via the app. As the Crafty has been discontinued, warranty processing may vary depending on the availability of spare parts.
