The Lamart TETRAx is a portable induction heater for DynaVap vaporizers. Instead of a lighter or torch, an electromagnetic field heats the stainless steel cap — evenly, repeatably, without open flame. Convection-based heating since the hot cap draws air through the material.
Lamart specializes in DynaVap accessories. The TETRAx is their flagship portable: compact, battery-powered, with adjustable temperature control. Prices in our price comparison. More on the Lamart brand page.
Compatibility and battery
Compatible with all DynaVap models using a standard stainless steel cap. Internal battery delivers 40 to 60 heat cycles per charge — roughly 10 to 15 sessions. USB-C charging. Compact enough to pocket alongside your DynaVap.
Cleaning
The TETRAx rarely needs cleaning — material never contacts the heater. Wipe the induction coil with a dry cloth occasionally. Clean the DynaVap as usual.
TETRAx vs torch — worth the switch?
Torches work but have drawbacks: butane refills, wind interference, inconsistent heating. The TETRAx solves all three. Trade-off: you need a charged battery. For DynaVap beginners or convenience seekers, the TETRAx is the easiest path to consistent vapor.
Hand-Built Craftsmanship and Wood Selection
Each TETRAx is built by hand, making every unit one of a kind. Housing options include walnut, cherry, and maple, each with its own grain patterns and color tones. Walnut offers dark, warm hues with prominent grain. Cherry wood shows a reddish tint that deepens over time. Maple is the lightest and highlights the natural wood texture. The wood parts are treated with food-safe oil that protects the surface without changing the natural grip feel.
Airflow Design and Vapor Path
The TETRAx airflow channel runs through a glass insert that isolates the vapor from the wood housing. This glass path ensures no wood taste enters the vapor even at higher temperatures. Draw resistance is adjusted via a small valve at the base of the device: fully open for free airflow and half-closed for more concentrated vapor. The vapor path consists of just three parts — glass insert, screen, and mouthpiece — each cleanable separately. The combination of wood housing and glass path keeps the outer temperature comfortably low while the vapor inside reaches the set temperature.
