What is an induction heater?
An induction heater is an electrical device that heats a metal tip through an alternating magnetic field. Within 5 to 10 seconds, the DynaVap tip reaches the right temperature and clicks audibly. Compared to a lighter, no manual rotation is needed – heat distribution is more even and reproducible.
Portable or desktop?
It depends on where you plan to use it. Portable induction heaters have a built-in battery and work on the go. Typical capacities range from 1,500 to 3,200 mAh, good for 30 to 80 heating cycles. Desktop models run on mains power and deliver consistent output – ideal for home use.
Which induction heater fits my DynaVap?
Almost all IH on the market work with standard DynaVap tips. Just check whether your model needs a 10 mm or 14 mm adapter for a glass connection. The Ispire Wand stands out because it also works as a standalone vaporizer for herbs and concentrates. The VapHotBox Koil, on the other hand, focuses on fast and precise cap heating.
Is an IH worth it compared to a torch lighter?
Yes, especially for daily use. An IH offers three tangible benefits: more consistent results per session, no butane refills and quieter operation. The tip heats evenly without hot spots, which improves extraction. Daily DynaVap users notice the difference right away. For occasional use, a good lighter often does the job.
