The NonaVonG S is a historic NonaVonG S with faceted wood body, titanium tip, direct 14 mm fit and spinning mouthpiece. It uses hybrid external heating without a battery. The S stands for the spinning mouthpiece. According to the historic variant list, the NonaVonG S is as long as the standard version, which came without any mouthpiece. The XLS combines the spinning mouthpiece with about one inch of extra length. Specifications of the current VonG or the Omni models do not carry over to the NonaVonG S.
While heating, you turn a VapCap so the cap warms evenly all round. The mouthpiece turns independently of the body: you hold the device by the mouthpiece and let the body rotate in the flame without constantly changing your grip. It has no effect on airflow; there is no Omni airflow control, and you set the draw with a finger on the airport.
The midsection is faceted wood (sold as Darkwood, Lightwood and Blackwood), the tip and Adjust-A-Bowl are titanium, and the click cap is stainless steel. According to the retailer description the bowl holds roughly 0.025 to 0.1 g. As on the standard model, the wooden body is shaped for sufficiently deep 14 mm female joints. We do not publish an exact overall length because retailer figures disagree.
The NonaVonG S needs no power. You heat the cap with a lighter, torch or compatible induction heater until it clicks, then take the heat away. The historic retailer description gives about 150 to 230 °C for this, influenced by where and how long you heat. There is no fixed heat-up figure, because the cap, the heat source and your technique decide how long it takes to click.
Today the NonaVonG S is almost only available as remaining stock. When buying, check the exact name: NonaVonG S with spinning mouthpiece in standard length, not the version without mouthpiece and not the longer XLS. Mouthpiece, wood tone, condition and contents should match the listing; the shop's price and details are binding.
