The King of Value for Money

The Boundless CFX flies under the radar. While everyone talks about Mighty+, Venty and PAX, the CFX delivers a combination that no other portable in its price class offers: 20 seconds heat-up time, 5000 mAh battery and hybrid heating up to 221°C. From 109 € — cheaper than the Crafty+ and better in some areas.

Design and Operation

The CFX will not win any beauty contests. The plastic housing feels functional rather than elegant. 206 grams feel heavy in the hand. But: OLED display, precise temperature control, large oven and a layout that makes sense after the first session.

Three buttons, clear display, no forced app. You set the temperature and start vaping. The large oven holds more material than Mighty+, Crafty+ or PAX. Group-friendly.

Heating and Vapor

Using the CFX correctly: Step by step

The CFX is ready to use within 2 minutes. Here are the most important steps for good results:

1. Fill the chamber: Open the lid and fill the chamber loosely to lightly firmly. Do not pack it tight – the air must be able to flow through. For solo sessions, a half fill with the included chamber reducer is enough. Dosing capsules also fit and keep the chamber clean.

2. Choose the temperature: The CFX offers 1-degree steps from 60 to 230 °C. For flavour, start at 170-180 °C. For denser clouds, increase to 200-210 °C. The heat-up time is 20 seconds – the display shows the current and target temperature at the same time.

3. Draw technique: Draw slowly and evenly, not hastily. The CFX uses hybrid heating (conduction + convection), i.e. both direct wall contact and the hot air flowing through produce vapor. A slow draw gives convection more time to work and delivers better flavour.

4. End of session: After 5-10 minutes, the material is evenly brown and the flavour fades. Switch off, let it cool down, empty the chamber. The used material (AVB) can be kept.

Tip: If you heat the CFX empty to 230 °C once before the first fill, you remove possible production residues.

Cleaning and Care

Regular cleaning keeps the vapor fresh and extends the service life of the CFX.

After every session: Empty the chamber with the supplied brush and give it a quick brush while the device is still slightly warm. Residue comes loose much more easily when warm than when cold.

Weekly (or every 10-15 sessions): Remove the mouthpiece and take out the screens. Soak everything in isopropyl alcohol (90%+) for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water and allow it to dry completely before reinserting it. Run an ISO-soaked pipe cleaner through the vapor path in the device itself.

Dosing capsules recommended: If you use stainless steel dosing capsules, the chamber stays much cleaner. Instead of weekly deep cleaning, every 3-4 weeks is enough. The capsules themselves can easily be cleaned in an ISO bath.

Important: Do not let water run into the device. Only soak the removable parts (mouthpiece, screens, capsules) in liquid.
