The Yella Focus V Carta Dry Attachment is a glass top without water. It replaces the glass on the Carta, and the vapor goes straight to the mouthpiece with no water filter in between. The retailer lists Milkyway as the maker; the glass is yellow to amber with a black mouthpiece rim.
No water
A dry attachment has no water chamber. There is nothing to fill or empty, and the draw is more direct and warmer than through a bubbler. If you want cooled, filtered vapor, pick a water attachment instead.
Fit on different Carta models
The glass socket of the attachment comes out of a precision mold and is the same on every piece. According to the retailer it fits the original Carta, the Carta 2 and the Carta Sport. The socket on the device itself, however, varies in diameter between models and batches. On most devices the attachment sits snug, on some it has a little play. That does not affect how it works.
How to handle it
Always lift the Carta by its base, never by the glass. That goes for any removable glass top, and even more so for one with a little play. Check the fit on your device before you use the attachment for the first time.
