Difference between V1 and Pro
The difference in the heater housing lies in the ruby filling. The Ruby Twist V1 uses larger Gem-Cut rubies, while the Pro configuration uses around 155 polished balls, each measuring 2.5 mm in diameter. The higher quantity creates a larger surface area within the same space. This gives the passing air a larger contact surface and distributes heat more evenly throughout the session. This upgrade adopts the ball configuration of the complete Pro Kit.
Compatibility and requirements
You need a functioning Ruby Twist V1 Kit for the conversion. The upgrade replaces only the filling and screens in the existing heating chamber. The heater housing, 20-mm heating coil, Micro PID Controller, bowls, tools and stand are not included in the set. You can continue using your existing glass bowl. To switch to the Pro bowl, you will also need a separately available Micro Matrix Bowl.

The package contains 255 polished ruby balls measuring 2.5 mm in diameter and two CNC-machined stainless steel mesh screens with a mesh size of 1.5 mm. Around 155 balls are intended for the characteristic Pro filling; the remaining balls provide a small reserve for topping up. During the conversion, the new screens replace the previously used wear parts. No other Ruby Twist system components are included.
Conversion and care
Disconnect the device from the power supply before starting the conversion and allow it to cool completely. Then remove the old rubies and screens from the heating chamber. You can remove residue from the housing using compressed air or a soft cloth. Next, insert the new stainless steel screens, add the 2.5-mm ruby balls and close the housing again. Before using it for the first time, you can briefly run the empty chamber at a higher setting to burn off any manufacturing residue.
