Convection heating according to the technical specifications

Black Leaf lists the heating system as convection in the technical specifications. The manufacturer's description also mentions an interchangeable stainless steel heating chamber.

Temperature and vapor

In herb mode, the temperature can be freely selected using the Up and Down buttons between 176 and 240 °C rather than from fixed levels. When the concentrate pod is inserted into the device, the BRICK detects it automatically and regulates the voltage instead (1.6 to 2.6 V). According to the manual, it remembers the last setting used for each pod, so there is no need to adjust it again when switching between herbs and concentrates.

Heating and session

The device is started by holding down the main button; once the set temperature has been reached, the BRICK vibrates. The session duration can be adjusted: 120 to 240 seconds in herb mode and 20 to 60 seconds in concentrate mode. The instruction manual does not specify a fixed heat-up time.

How Do I Charge the Battery Properly?

The 18650 battery with 3400 mAh is removable and charged via USB-C; the charge level is shown at the top right of the display. After releasing the locking button, the heating chamber can be pulled upwards and removed, making cleaning and material changes easier. According to the manufacturer, all parts should be completely dry after cleaning.
