Ceramic instead of quartz

The Evolve Plus XL ships with a quad coil: four quartz rods wrapped in titanium wire, built for as much vapour as the device can make. Ceramic heats up more slowly. Your concentrate vaporises more gently, the vapour is easier on the throat, and the flavour comes through more clearly. If you bought the XL for big clouds, though, the ceramic coil may feel too tame.

How to swap the coil

Let the device cool down. Turn the old coil counterclockwise to take it off the battery. Screw the new coil clockwise onto the 510 connection until it sits snug. No tools needed. Before the first load, run one empty heat cycle to burn off residue from manufacturing.
