The High Five V2 XXL Flex E-Nail Coil works differently from a regular coil. It does not stay on the nail but serves as a heating station: you hold the quartz nail or banger in it, heat it up and take it out again. The sheathed neck bends and keeps its shape. Because the coil does not have to match one diameter exactly, High Five says it heats many quartz pieces: bangers, buckets, nails, terp slurpers, towers and blenders. High Five recommends using a coil stand with it.
FAQ
Does the coil have to match the size of my banger?
Not exactly. That is what the Flex Coil is for: it is not wrapped around the nail, so the exact diameter matters less than with fixed coils.
Do I need a stand?
High Five recommends a coil stand so the Flex Coil stays secure while heating.
Does the coil work with other brands’ controllers?
Not reliably. High Five notes that its coils may not be compatible with e-nail controllers from other brands. Check the wiring of the 5-pin XLR connection before you buy.
