The High Five 25mm Axial E-Nail Coil is the coil High Five calls its most versatile. The axial winding surrounds the dish of the nail or banger and heats the bottom and the sides evenly. According to High Five, that keeps the temperature more stable than a coil that only heats from below. It works with the High Five Quartz E-Banger, the Universal Titanium Nail and the Universal Quartz Hybrid Nail. The cable is 6 ft long with a fire-proof Kevlar sheath, and the plug is a grounded 5-pin XLR. A Velcro strap is included for storage.
FAQ
25 or 30 mm – which size do I need?
That depends on the diameter of your nail or banger. High Five offers the axial coil in 25 and 30 mm; both have their own entries in the price comparison.
Does the coil work with other brands’ controllers?
Not reliably. High Five notes that its coils may not be compatible with e-nail controllers from other brands. Check the wiring of the 5-pin XLR connection before you buy.
