DaVinci designed it for anyone who uses their ARTIQ frequently and doesn't want to be left without a functioning device when a part wears out or goes missing. The ARTIQ fully encloses the cartridge within its housing, which draws inspiration from the IQ series. The magnetic collar fits onto the cartridge and holds it securely in the chamber. Without it, the cartridge can no longer be inserted cleanly. Anyone using multiple cartridges in rotation can fit each with its own collar and avoid swapping it over each time. The seals sit along the extended air path, which the ARTIQ uses to cool the vapour down. When they become brittle or cracked over time, or are lost during cleaning, the device draws in air from the sides and the pull becomes uneven. The kit is compatible exclusively with the ARTIQ. It is not intended for DaVinci's herb vaporizers, the IQ2 and IQ3.

Compatibility

The ARTIQ works with most 510 cartridges with bottom airflow in the common sizes 0.3 g, 0.5 g, and 1 g. Oversized cartridges do not fit in the housing. None of the parts are compatible with the herb vaporizers IQ2 and IQ3.

When to Replace

You need a collar as soon as one goes missing or you want to permanently load an additional cartridge. Replace the seals when they have deformed, show cracks, or no longer sit snugly. A typical sign is a weaker or uneven draw. Clean the chamber before fitting new seals to ensure no residue sits beneath them.
