Ground herb goes into a chamber made from Ooze's own C-Core ceramic, which the manufacturer states holds 0.3 g. Ooze describes the heating as a hybrid method. The Pinch shares only its form factor with a 510 battery: Ooze markets it as a dry herb vaporizer.
Three clicks of the button cycle through the settings. Green corresponds to 325 °F (around 163 °C), Blue to 375 °F (around 191 °C), and Red to 425 °F (around 218 °C). Precise degree-by-degree adjustment is not available.
Five clicks turn the Pinch on and off. Holding the button for three seconds starts the heating cycle. After around 30 seconds the LEDs stop blinking, leaving 150 seconds for the session. The device then needs a two-minute break before the next cycle can begin. According to the manufacturer, this prevents the herb from overheating.
The battery has 1,000 mAh and charges via USB-C; no charging cable is included. The housing features a geometric-embossed vegan leather coating that Ooze calls the «Luxe Grip». The mouthpiece is held magnetically and has a small screen at the bottom; Ooze also sells it separately as a replacement part.
The Pinch is aimed at beginners who currently vape oil cartridges and are looking for a small, affordable dry herb device with simple operation. Anyone who wants precise temperature control or longer sessions without breaks would be better served by a different device.
