The OLDHEAD Dab-Ready is a mains-powered desktop heater for 25-mm quartz bangers. It maintains a separately purchased banger at the desired extraction temperature, allowing concentrates to be used without a torch or butane. The device is the heater from the larger Terp-Ready system, but is compared here as a standalone product: the Terp Hammer, glass chamber and quartz banger are not included. The official product page describes the North American 110-volt version.

Electric desktop heater for 25-mm quartz bangers

The Dab-Ready accommodates a straight 25-mm quartz banger and electrically maintains it at the selected extraction temperature. This eliminates the need for an open flame, butane and repeated manual heating. The hot banger is removed from the heater, used with an existing glass rig, cleaned and then returned to the heater. The Dab-Ready itself does not contain a vaporisation chamber or water piece; only a separately purchased banger and suitable rig form a complete concentrate setup.

Which bangers fit the Dab-Ready? +

Most straight 25-mm buckets. According to the manufacturer, flared or faceted bottoms are not compatible.

How long does the Dab-Ready take to heat up? +

Up to three minutes from a cold start with the quartz inserted; in an already warm device, a banger normally requires approximately 90 seconds.

Can the North American version be used in Europe? +
