The Vapormax III (Flowermate V3.0) is a pen vaporizer with a ceramic chamber and a fixed temperature around 195 °C for herbs, oils and wax – the precursor of the Flowermate V5.0. Leather sleeve, silicone heat guard, removable mouthpiece; no longer in production.
The Vapormax III has no temperature selection: the ceramic chamber regulates the temperature to approximately 195 °C and prevents it from rising higher. This is sufficient for dry herbs and for oils or wax placed directly into the chamber. Retailers marketed it as a 3-in-1 pen; successors such as the V5.0 later introduced multiple settings.
Wrapped in leather and silicone
Unusually for a pen in this class, the leather covering keeps the housing cool in the hand; a silicone sleeve is also included for additional heat protection. The mouthpiece, made from food-grade plastic, can be unscrewed. The initial charge takes three hours, followed by one and a half to two hours per charge; it switches off after five minutes without a draw.
Position within the Flowermate range
With the V5.0S and V5.0S Pro, Flowermate (Vapormax) developed the ceramic chamber concept further, adding temperature settings, larger batteries and displays. The III is their simpler, thicker early predecessor – interesting for collectors or as a very inexpensive entry point, but not as an alternative to current devices.
