The Wooden Sleeve Tempest V2 by TS Wooden Art replaces the original sleeve of the MAD Heaters Tempest 2. A stainless steel insert in the airflow area preserves airflow control. The sleeve is offered in various wood finishes, without the complete vaporizer.

Check wood variant and second generation

The specific La Centrale Vapeur listing names wood and metal as well as Tempest V2 as compatible. Wood type and grain depend on the selected finish. The Tempest V2 designation is not a verified clearance for the first-generation Tempest.

Airflow control and wood care

Herbware describes a stainless steel insert and airflow that remains adjustable by rotating the sleeve. The retailer advises against cleaning the wood with isopropyl alcohol because it can crack. For the wood, they recommend beeswax or wood conditioning products. This care instruction applies to the wooden sleeve.
