Voltage and Vibration Feedback
The voltage control runs from 2.0 V to 4.0 V and clicks into place at each step, so you can feel the selected setting directly. A lower voltage value protects the cartridge's heating coil; higher values deliver more vapor. Pulse Wave technology signals via vibration when the device is switched on, switches off, or a cartridge has been successfully connected. Additional indicator lights show the current status of the battery.
Prep Mode and Safe Sesh Mode
Prep Mode is designed to clear stubborn blockages in the cartridge. Ooze recommends activating it every time you switch the device on. In Safe Sesh Mode, the battery only heats in ten-second intervals; after each interval elapses, it switches off automatically. This prevents the heating coil from overheating and protects the terpenes in the cartridge.
Charging and Battery
An Ooze Smart USB charger, which is powered by a USB power adapter, is included in the box. A USB power adapter as well as a USB-C cable for the second charging port are available separately. The battery can be used whilst charging via the USB-C port. An automatic shut-off after ten minutes helps preserve battery life. The capacity is 320 mAh.
Compatibility
The 510 thread is compatible with virtually all common pre-filled oil cartridges and 510 attachments. The flush-fitting thread ensures the cartridge sits cleanly in place. The battery is designed for daily use with ready-made cartridges; it does not include its own heating chambers or tanks.
FAQ
Is the battery compatible with my cartridge?
Very likely yes: the battery has a 510 thread, the common standard for oil cartridges, and is therefore compatible with virtually all commercially available ready-made cartridges. The low starting voltage of 2.0 V also protects sensitive heating coils.
What distinguishes the Twist Slim Pen 2.0 from the previous model?
The 2.0 adds auto draw, USB-C charging, Prep Mode, Safe Sesh Mode, and Pulse Wave haptic feedback to the original model. The voltage range now starts at 2.0 V, which is lower than its predecessor and protects the cartridge's heating coil. Battery life has also been improved compared to the original.
What is included in the box?
The battery and an Ooze Smart USB charger are included in the box. A suitable USB power adapter as well as a USB-C cable for the second charging port are available separately. Cartridges and attachments are not included.
What does Prep Mode do?
Prep Mode briefly pre-heats the cartridge to clear stubborn blockages in the opening. Ooze recommends using this mode every time you switch the device on in order to ensure a smooth, unobstructed draw resistance.
What does Safe Sesh Mode do and when is it useful?
In Safe Sesh Mode, the device only heats in ten-second intervals and then switches off automatically. This prevents the heating coil from overheating and protects the terpenes in the cartridge. This mode is particularly recommended for sensitive cartridges or higher voltage settings.
