A drop down sits between the water pipe and the banger and moves the heated part away from the body of the glass. This GRAV piece is four inches long and carries two 14 millimetre joints, male on one end and female on the other. The added distance keeps the torch flame away from the downstem and lowers the risk of burning a hand while heating; if something does break, a drop down is easier to replace than the pipe itself. It was designed by Dave Daily. This pack holds five pieces.
