This tool from MAD Heaters assists with positioning the bowl screen in the Tempest 2. The shorter side sets the half-bowl position, the longer side the three-quarter setting. It is a different tool from the stainless steel tool for the ball retention screen in the heating head.

Application

Press the screen to the bottom of the bowl first. Then insert the tool: the shorter side for the half-bowl position or the longer side for the three-quarter position. Afterward, press with the metal tube from the other side, as described on the manufacturer's website.
