The Black Leaf Steely Dan Stainless Steel Grinder 2-Piece 53mm is a flat grinder machined from solid stainless steel. It has just the grinding stage, with no screen and no chamber.
Size
It measures 53 mm across, 46.5 mm inside, and is only 19 mm tall, so it fits a trouser pocket. A 63 mm version also exists.
Build
The teeth are diamond cut. A strong magnet holds both halves together and a nylon ring keeps the turn smooth. A cloth pouch is included.
Pollen
Without a screen, the pollen stays between the teeth. If you want to collect it, you need a four-piece grinder.
FAQ
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, stainless steel does not rust. Only the nylon ring wears over time.
Is the two-piece Steely Dan also available at 39, 49 or 59 mm?
Those sizes have their own entries in the price comparison.
