Machined aluminum body, borosilicate glass head, stainless steel heater housing. The entire vapor path runs through glass and steel only. The AC power supply brings the quartz balls to 371 C in under two minutes. The 14/18 mm ground glass joint fits standard water pipes and bubblers.

Optional stainless steel dosing capsules hold about 0.1 g each. Loading without a capsule allows larger bowls. Cleaning takes seconds with a brush. The quartz balls stay clean for weeks because plant material does not stick to them.

Compared to the Staroma 360, the Taroma XL offers a higher max temperature and a larger ball chamber. The Baroma 2.0 shares the 371 C range but uses a different head design. The 360XLS caps at 254 C for moderate sessions.

Experienced desktop users who want peak vapor density and flavor. Water pipe owners get a complete setup via the WPA joint. The 371 C ceiling supports concentrate sessions. Beginners should start at lower temperatures around 180 C.

The Taroma XL bowl holds significantly more material than the standard version, making it well suited for group rounds. While the regular bowl takes about 0.15 grams, the XL bowl fits up to 0.3 grams. In a group session with three to four people, one fill provides four to six solid draws per person. The larger surface area of the stainless steel balls ensures air flows evenly through all the material rather than channeling through one path. The result is full extraction without stirring and consistent vapor quality from the first to the last draw.

The Taroma XL's large bowl accepts up to 0.5 g of material — double what most portables handle. For solo sessions, use the included bowl reducer to halve capacity and maintain efficient extraction. Pack loosely for convection airflow. The digital controller lets you set exact temperatures from 100 to 300 C. Start at 190 C and step up during the session. The glass-on-glass connection fits 18mm water pieces directly.

After each session, empty the bowl while warm and brush away loose material. The glass components — bowl, stem, and mouthpiece — should be soaked in isopropyl alcohol weekly. The heating element itself only needs a dry brush. Never use liquid on the heater unit. The modular design means individual parts are replaceable without buying a whole new device. Keep spare screens on hand as they clog after 10-15 sessions.
